Frequently asked questions

What's a credit?
One credit verifies one email address, on every plan and every channel: bulk upload, single check, or API. Duplicates inside a job and checks that fail on our side are never charged.
What happens when my credits run out?
Plans are prepaid, so nothing runs on a negative balance — verification stops rather than billing you for an overage. Buy a top-up and it's available immediately, or wait for the monthly reset.
Do credits roll over?
Plan credits don't roll over: they reset at the start of each billing month. Top-up credits are different — they never expire, and they're spent only once the month's plan credits are gone.
Can I downgrade?
Yes. Fit what you have enrolled — warmup inboxes, DMARC domains and blacklist monitors — inside the smaller plan's numbers first, then switch; the new plan takes effect from the next billing period.
What if my payment fails?
The account goes read-only until it's paid: verification and monitoring pause and no new work starts. Nothing is deleted — your lists, results and reports are safe and resume the moment payment goes through.
How does annual billing work?
You pay twelve months upfront at 20% off the monthly price, and the subscription renews yearly. Monthly allowances still work monthly: credits, inbox placement tests and email server tests reset at the start of every month.
Can I get a refund?
Credits and subscription fees are generally non-refundable once purchased, except as set out in our Guarantee, where a refund is required by mandatory law that applies to you, or where we choose to grant one at our discretion. The full wording is in Terms §7.
