Why isn't this a paste-and-click widget?

Because a real placement test can't run in a browser. It requires sending your actual email to real, maintained mailboxes at every major provider and then reading where each copy was filed. Any page that claims to measure inbox placement without sending real mail is guessing from DNS records. Ours sends real mail — which is why it runs inside the product, free with an account.

Is the inbox placement test really free?
Yes. Every new account starts with 250 free credits — no credit card required — and you can spend them on any check: placement tests, email verification, SPF/DKIM/DMARC checks and more.
Why does the test need an account?
Because it uses real infrastructure. A placement test sends your actual email to real, maintained mailboxes at Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and other providers, then reads where each copy landed. That seed network costs real money to run and would be abused instantly as an anonymous public endpoint. Your account and credit balance keep it free for genuine senders — the same balance that covers all our other free tools.
What is a seed list?
A seed list is a set of real mailboxes we control across every major provider. You add them to your campaign like any other recipients, and because we can read those inboxes, we can report exactly where your message landed at each provider — primary inbox, Promotions, spam, or nowhere.
How is this different from my ESP's delivery rate?
Your ESP's "delivered" number only means the receiving server accepted the message — it says nothing about where it was filed. A message counted as delivered can still sit in the spam folder. Inbox placement measures the thing you actually care about: did it reach the primary inbox?
Which providers are covered?
Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365, Yahoo, iCloud and AOL, plus regional providers including Comcast, Orange, Mail.ru and GMX.
How often should I run a placement test?
Before any high-stakes campaign, after any authentication or DNS change, and periodically (weekly or monthly) as a health check. Placement drifts silently — sender reputation moves with every send, and you want to catch a slide before your open rates do.
My placement is bad — what do I do?
Start with the basics, in order: fix authentication (run our free SPF, DKIM and DMARC checks), clean your list so you stop sending to dead and risky addresses, and check blacklist exposure. The deliverability suite walks you through each fix and re-tests as you go.
