Commit a job

POST /v1/bulk-verifications/{jobId}/commit

Committing seals the input and starts verification. No body is needed.

Terminal window
curl -X POST https://api.tryverifyemail.com/v1/bulk-verifications/$JOB_ID/commit \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_your_api_key"

Returns 202 with the job now preparing:

{
"id": "137eb443-2c6e-4a0f-9b7d-5e1f8a3c2d41",
"name": "june-newsletter",
"status": "preparing",
"created_at": "2026-09-05T06:35:00.267Z"
}

Committing a job that is already committed is harmless: it returns 200 with the job’s current state and does not restart anything.
